Butler V4 alarms seemed to be cut off after shortly after it plays....and megaclock alarms are also the same. I can't get any 3rd party alarms to work like they should ie. get them to play the complete alarm.

Are you playing full-length mp3s or something? I use a midi alarm personally (as they're loud and annoying) and it seems to work okay for me.

Nothing special - it would be the standard tones available in my treo 680 - Bach Sonata. It would play for approx. 2 -3 secs then gets killed off.

Adam, is this problem occurring when the 680 is in a snug case?

It is in a case but it is not that snug - i placed it on a table so the keys should not have been pressed. Anyway - megaClock's alarm worked well so far 2 days now. I'll probably stick to that - don't need so many apps all doing the same thingy.
