I have purchased many headphones - which generally seem to work fine.
The problem is that the wire near where the jack enters the phone seems to wear out quickly as it bends & the sound is lost.
I hope this is clear. It seems as if I don't keep the phone/headphone wire straight up & down - any sort of bending ruins the wire.
I am asking if there is any "thicker" wire or better headphone (more durable) or whatever. Thanks.

Buy the L-shape phone adaptor then use a normal 3.5mm headphones.
