    this has happened at least twice: I call *2, talk to customer service, and when I hang up the phone is disconnected. Then when I try and start the phone by pushing the power button, a soft reset ensues. Is this a known issue? Luckily I almost never have to call *2....

    It is known, but not a "crash." My understanding is that the phone resets so that any s/w download that occurred during the *2 can take effect.

    Makes sense....I must have provoked the reset some way....thanks.
