    Hi,

the phone numbers of my treo 680's contacts use spaces and "()"s to enhance readability. Unfortunately, they only show up when I edit a contact. They are not visible when I look at the contact list nor when I look at the details of a specific contact.

Is there an app or hack that does the trick here? The available character space is way enough to show the 'special' chars, so I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be displayed.

    Thanx,
    andreas

    ps: I'm using a German treo 680

you are correct, the extra non-numeral character don't get displayed.

Try googling "takephone" - it's a replacement for the "Phone" application, and among many other things, displays the complete phone number field.

thank you for the reply, but I'd prefer a solution that keeps the original program. After taking a look at Takephone I got the feeling that it's too ... different

    Any other suggestions?
