The crystalclear is nice because you can see the phone in all of it's glory, but I hear you can see the dust getting in under the back of the phone. The rubberized is nice because it has that softtouch paint on it, but then you can't see the phone itself. Which one to get??? Can you mix and match?

That's a tough one. I carry my 700wx in the rubberized case but it really comes down to personal preference. I would suggest that you buy both and switch back and forth!

I have both, and the crystal case shows scratches on the plastic very easily, mostly the back half that usually lays on the table. The scratches have gotten pretty bad on my crystal case. Other than that it's a wonderful case. The rubber case doesn't have that problem. I actually prefer my rubber case more than the crystal case, but just my personal preference. I gave the crystal case to my girlfriend.

How's the rubberized case with pockets, usually jeans? I keep mine in there and just got a Treo 700p so I want to make sure it stays as nice as possible. I was using it naked, and it got nicked and scratched pretty bad. I tried the belt clip stuff, but found the pocket was easiest. I just don't want anything too bulky in my pocket.

I have BOTH, and the Crystal does indeed show scratches easily. It also traps dust, which can get annoying. I use the Rubberized version and its outstanding! Its slick enough to drop in your pocket and not attract lint but has some tackiness to provide a good grip! An it dresses up the Treo quite nicely, like the little black dress women wear! Neither one of the cases are bulky, and both feel like they are virtually naked.

I've had a (non-Seidio) clear case before and the previous posts are on point: it eventually gets scratches all over the surface and shows dust trapped inside.

I'm really enjoying the Seidio rubberized case, though. The surface isn't tacky but provides a good grip, doesn't show scratches and, as opposed to slilicon skin cases I've had before, is thin enough that my little 680 still looks slim-n-trim.

Can I function totally with it on? I have the Palm cradle to charge. Will I be able to charge it with this on?

Also, how do the battery door replacements fit? I had one on my 650 and it wasn't the best of fit, nor did the color match perfectly. Since I'd get the rubberized one, color and fit wouldn't be that big of a problem.

I have both also. Mine are both Seidio models. I ended up giving away the rubberized one and kept the crystal one. I have a 680 Crimson, so I like being able to see the color. I had no problem sliding the rubberized cased phone in and out of my pocket. I just personally prefer the crystal.

I have more of a problem with the holster for each of them. I tried the holster for the rubber one, and then ordered the new holster with the SD slot holder in it for the new crystal. I constantly find myself knocking the phone off the holster. Thankfully the crystal case has done an excellent job protected the phone itself. The crystal case does pop off each time it has hit the ground, but the phone always came through unscathed. The case only has a few minor scuffs, even after the drops to earth.

I am giving up on the holsters and have ordered a side carry pouch. I'll keep my phone in the crystal case and use the side case for safey.

Anyone interested in a Seidio skinned/cased holster with SD slot?

No, the Treo with ANY case (besides BSE) will fit in the palm charge cradle. Look into the Seidio INNO.dock cradle, as it will work with most cases on the Treo.

I actually just got the new Hybrid Case for Treo 700 (http://www.seidioonline.com/index.as...ROD&ProdID=646) and I love the look. It has the nice feel of the rubberized black back and doesn't get all scratched up like the clear back would. It also has an unobstructed view of the front. There were some minor manufacturing defects that required filing down a couple jagged edges on the clear half, but on the whole I'm very happy with it.

Wow! Interesting! I have both, so maybe I can make this case on my own! I dont like it's looks as much, though.

I always suggest clipping the right side first then coming across and clipping in the other side. If you're still having problems call 832-204-1118 and ask for Kelvin. He can help you troubleshoot.

    Thanks

that worked perfectly and took me all of 5 seconds. that should be on the instructions as an alternative way. I was working this case for 2 days.

    thanks.

I've never tried the Seidio crystal case but I do have the Proporta Crystal case. I don't find that Proporta crystal case scratches as easily (subjective again since I do take care of my cases). I've had it for over a month now and it still looks good and very durable.

I should take a look at the rubberized case and see how they are.
