    I had taken out the battery of the treo while in a meeting (the power button doesn't really work anymore), and as I got back to the car I put the battery back in. The treo turned on, then turned off (because of radio control, as the clock turned over). I then tried to call out, and clicked yes to turn the radio back on and the treo reset... now it is back on and I have this weird icon - a big red "T" in the phone program...

    Is this just in some kind of "field test mode" that I unwittingly turned on, or is this something else? Please see the attached image.. I'm just curious what this may be.

    It means that TTY is enabled (see the 4th " *Tip "):
