Darn...Ludus P was just what I needed for my new 680.

I hated the new button layout and was able to set Ludus P so that the button layout matched that of my 650: the long green button became Home, the long red button became Menu and the new home button became Power/End. Overjoyed, I plunked down $5 and bought the app.

Now, I've discovered that changing the long green button (Send) via LP prevents either of my BT headsets (Plantronics 645 & SE HBH-660) from answering calls. Everthing thing else works, except for that pretty important function.

Is there any chance that LP could be tweaked for the 680? The ability to assign a function to the new Send button was the most important feature.

I'm having the same issue. It seems that mapping the green Send button to anything disables the answer button on my headset.

I hope this can be fixed because I really like to access the menu from the green button but it's a lot more important to be able to answer from my headset.

hmm... okay, would this fix be okay? :

when there's a call coming in, regardless of what you have the green button set to i'll make it be pickup. that way, it'll work like menu always EXCEPT when you have a call coming in, in which case it'll work like usual allowing you to answer the call.

    cheers, tyler

If it reverts to my setting immediately after answering the call, then that's fine.

I don't see a problem with that. Can you post a message when the new fix is available?

Since I use TakePhone for making calls and contact management, I've found that an acceptable workaround is to exclude Phone-App-HsPh and PhoneAppStub68k-Pm68.

I pretty much did that from the get-go when I set up LudusP, since I figured -- correctly, it seems -- that the phone apps use of the phone and green button would make my use of green for menu a real challenge. And apart from having to remember I have to use a different menu key when in phone or contacts I have found it to be a reasonable approach.

that makes sense... has anyone else successfully used Bill's suggested workaround?

    regards, tyler
