    Changes in 5.43b Beta:

    1. Supports long press to pop up most recent use list in Treo 680.
    2. Fixed incorrect behavior in Treo 680 when device Power off & locked the power off button no more function.
    3. Improved ZLPluginStatus to display sound status in Treo 680.

    It's on their Beta page:

    http://www.zztechs.com/en/zlauncher/beta.htm

I forget who was upset that the recent use list is gone; now they fixed it.

I was 'upset' and have already filed a bug report because I found a problem

When invoking MRU and using 5-way nav left or right (which should dismiss the list), my device crashes. Can others pls confirm/reject this ?

Sound status in ZLpluginStatus works fine now, the power off button thing I have not tested.

    Why are you yelling?

I have everything in Quick Launch disabled. It's not quick launch. It's the "Default Launcher" setting that is giving me the HEDE hit.

I can only assume you are referring to HEDE as in the info displayed when using PalmInternals ? Might add that info for others to clarify (read: lesser geek people like you and me )

Thanks for confirming. Makes me feel better it is not something on my device alone

This seems to be unique to 700/680 where they had to do something different to get the Home key to work properly. Sorry.

Confirmed. I tried a few different ways.

I wonder if the ZZ guys were that fast, or they already knew about it and put out a quick release to fix it in the beta.

Thanks for posting the link to the new version

When I use the new Status plugin to indicate sound I'm getting booted from zLauncher:

In ZL, I tap the status icon to bring up Sound preferences. When I tap done it brings me out to the built-in launcher (instead of returning to ZL).

Confirmed, I am seeing that too.
Not that I ever want to TAP that sound icon, but still it is a bug
    Good catch

    I will write them a report ...

Update: I tested this also on my T3, just to be sure:

    Sound:
    Treo 680: default launcher returned
    T3: Preferences panel returned

    Bluetooth:
Treo 680: no possibility to return, have to use Home (but that is normal)
    T3: Preferences panel returned.

    What does HEDE mean??
  20.    #20
People get all worked up with HEDE.. It basically means the programs is hooked into the main event loop so it can pick up things.

It *can* slow down things if written badly. It can also not slow things down at all if done properly. ZLauncher doesn't slow it down at all.

But I'm not going to argue about that anymore.
