I couldn't find any info on this but im sure its out there. How do you get verichat to not disconnect when your phhone goes into auto-standby or idle after not being used for a minute. I have my verichat set to "Always On' and i have the sms set up correctly.

    this will be long, sorry.

I'd like to resurrect this thread. After 2 weeks of phone calls to Verizon, I finally got an answer about the sudden drop in email support to my cell phone via vtext.com.

The responses snipped from my ticket

"... V-Text was not meant as a business application. It is for entertainment only..."

"...Unfortunately we can't guarantee customer's will be able to receive email sent to their mdn@vtext.com. The vtext website states that it is only to be used for entertainment purposes. We have recently increased our spam filters. If the customer is sending lots of email messages from that email address to #@vtext.com it is very possible they're email address has been flagged as spam. Please advice the customer if they would like to use this service for business email they need to partner w/ an aggregator..."

Can this be considered a break in the service contract on their part? From the vtext.com site (https://www.vtext.com/customer_site/...outservice.jsp)

    1-way Messaging lets you receive:
email alerts from any Internet email
messages from others via the Internet

Anyone can send you a text message from e-mail simply by composing a message and sending it directly to your digital handset."

    replies appreciated.

Install this. It should fix the problem with Verichat disconnecting.
