I want to use Softick Audio Gateway to stream music via BT to my Prius stereo. The BT in my Prius apparently does not support A2DP. So I was wondering: is anyone aware of a A2DP-compatible Bluetooth adapter that plugs into a 3.5mm AUX line jack (which then could pair with the Treo)?

OK, I found the Jabra A120S:

But this seems to be made to be connected to an audio device to then stream music to BT headphones. Does anyone know whether this would work in the reverse (plugged into AUX jack in my car stereo allowing music to be played via car speakers streamed via BT from my Treo)?

Talking to myself in this thread but I found something that I think may fit the bill and provide some cool functionality:

Scosche makes a BT stereo receiver (http://www.scosche.com/scosche_bluetooth_tech.aspx) that will receive music via BT and then connect/output to devices via RCA. I've got an RCA to 3.5mm adapter, so theoretically I can:

    1. Stream music via BT from my Treo to the Scosche receiver using Softick Audio Gateway
    2. Connect the Scosche to the AUX jack in my Prius via RCA to 3.5mm adapter
    3. Hear music through the Prius speakers.

    What do you guys think?

Sounds like it might work. Let us know how it turns out!
