Once I move a program to my memory card, should I then go and delete the original program off the phone? Thanks!

Yes. Otherwise, you're defeating the purpose of moving the app to the card.

    Zlink works fine.

Warning: If you delete the application off the Phone (RAM) using the standard Applications launcher, it will remove all settings from Saved and UnSaved Preferences as well. You'll have to re-enter the software unlock codes etc.

It is a brain-dead way of designing the Palm Application, but we are stuck with this.

For the more savvy: It's better to search for files with the same Creator ID and delete them from RAM using FileZ or Resco Explorer. But then some applications use multiple Creator ID's :-(

    What is Zlink?

To the original poster: Try a free application called Linkstart Lite. It will copy the application to the card and leave a shortcut in RAM. Best of both worlds.

So is it best to install directly to the card as opposed to installing to the phone then moving then deleting?
