has anyone experienced this? yesterday morning i was in maryland and i
woke up a little early and didnt want to wake up the misses. so i go
on the web on my treo 700p to do some google search. i surfed for about
5-8 minutes. i then recharged my phone and went to get a cup of coffee.
i came back 1/2 hr later to turn on my treo and it wouldnt turn on.
so i opened the battery plate and pulled the battery out and popped
it back in. the phone itself was in a constant reboot stage. i did a
soft reset and it was no help. i had no choice but to do a hard reset,
    loosing all my data. crud!

heres a video i shot yesterday with my digital camera

    Hey fondoo

    BACKUP....BACKUP....BACKUP.....BACKUP.....BACKUP.....BACKUP....

with a backup utility....I have had this happen before after I install an application that dosen't play nice and it throws the 650 or 700p into a reset loop. I have done a hard reset and a restore from Resco Backup and theTreos are as good as new.

BACKUP and you won't loose your data.

yep, I've ran into that a couple times while trying different apps and stuff. like was already mentioned, backup. if you don't feel like spending any $$ you can use NVbackup(freeware). this is actually the program I use(by choice, tried others and was willing to pay but I liked NV) and it's save me a few times.
