Anybody know any good Palm blogging apps?

I have used u*Blog for a long time and it is one of the best I have ever seen.

But then your mileage may vary.

Blogging tools seem pretty lame. I use hblogger but it hasn't been worked on in quite awhile.

Another Typepad Mobile user here. In fact I moved my blog from Blogger to Typepad when Typepad Mobile was released, as it does exactly what I'd been trying to achieve with other apps. It makes including a picture with your post really easy.

Six Apart also has a Palm (WM & Palm OS) version of their Vox Mobile app, which works with your blog on Vox (www.vox.com).

Thanks for the Vox info, it was very easy (and free) to set-up an account. For posting from the Treo, as well as that free Vox Mobile App, Vox has an even simpler option for sending in simple posts/photos via email, which is also effortless to get going (much more than doing the same in Blogger or WordPress). It's listed on the second link above (under moblogging). Typepad does look nice, but it costs monthly money. One feature that seems to set it apart though, is having a straighforward way to password protect the blog site.

I just post to my Blogger blog via email... go@blogger.com

...or use Splashblog to post pics. It doesn't just post to your splashblog site, but will sync to your blog of choice as well.

I just used VoxBlog on my 650 to blog a holiday, and was very impressed with it (and the photos from the T: see new avatar). However I noticed that I was not really adding much text and feel that a site more focussed on photo-archiving pure and simple would be probably have been more useful.

Anyone know of a photo-archive site that has ALL of these features:

    * is free, with no limits on #s of photos
    * alows instantaneous, Treo uploads (via email or another treo app)
    * allows password protection?

So far I've checked: Flickr, SplashBlog, Fotopic, each of which fulfills some but not all of these criteria.

    cheers

Thanks for the info. I just used the email to upload a blog and picture on blogspot.com. No third party software required at all. I just have to send an email with picture attachment to go@blogger.com.
    That's so easy.

Don't forget you can photoblog via email using Flickr's blog-by-email service.

Flickr.com works well for me. You can upload a picture directly through your Treo by attaching a picture to an email address sent to Flickr. You can also add a caption title plus text describing the picture. With Flickr, you don't need any special apps installed to your Treo, as some blog sites do (eg: SplashBlog?).

Yes it does. I started using it today.
It does have at least one problem though. Posting from the vox app on the Treo won't post unless you attach a picture.

I posted a picture today from my Treo and it posted online immediately, but when I posted to my blog, it never showed up.

I reposted to my blog attaching a picture, and again it showed up immediate.

That's not a problem I have had: my Vox standalone app posts both text-only posts and photo-posts, and does so from the Card.

    Really?
It only posts text for me when I attach a picture.
I googled vox.prc and there is a vox user stating the same problem.

Absolutely, I just did a text post and it was on the site within 10 seconds.

Just in case its procedure-specific, this is how I do it:

    1. From main screen, click on "New Post" button
    2. in new screen, make sure Post to Blog is chosen in top box
    3. type up post
    4. Click on Post button, bottom right.

For other issues Ive emailed the Vox support team and found them very quick to respond.

    good luck

That's the same way I did it. I also emailed support, nothing yet.
    What version are you using?

Textamerica doesn't cost anything and has been around a long time. Is nobody still using it?
