For those who drive around NYC, this is a great app for the 680.

The program just keeps crashing on me. Can you get passed the initialscreen which states CBS video cellmate. I know it states that the software is compatible with the 680 but based on the way it freezes, it looks like it is sure full of "bugs".

Nevermind.. I re-installed the app and now works. Thanks for this app. It is pretty cool.

Is it just me, or is the page displaying a 404 error?

Try adding a .php to the URL and it will work.

But they want my cell phone number to send me an SMS with the web address to download the application. As much as I'd like the application, I sure don't want to send them my cell phone number, as the only reason they could possibly want it is to send me unsolicited spam messages and/or phone calls.

    No thanks.

An app? Doesn't New York have something like this? -

Thanks Globetrotter! Very nice app, and no spam email from them.

atg: Yes, there is a web site that the NYC traffic department (or something like that) which provides real time pictures of the streets and highways here too. The CBS app is a much nicer implementation though.

Sounds great; I hear the ads for it as I listen to the radio in the morning. One key question for me:

Any idea on how much data is sent/received for an average viewing "session?"

I have a very limited data plan.

    Thanks!
