    What service do you have? you may be able to block that number by calling them up or using the carrier website to specify a number to block for texts.

    I'd also ask my provide to put me on an unlimited SMS plan for this billing cycle until you get this issue cleared away. Ask them to put a note on the account that you should be credited for the unlimited SMSs while you're having this issue.

    i downloaded verichat...and i stopped having the problem...not sure how that affected it..but it did

    My guess is that Verichat keeps you logged in to the IM server so you IM service doesn't try to send messages to your phone.

    I found this while googling -
    To block a text from a certain phone number, send out the following text:
    B <otherpersonsnumber> to 8888

    (with a space between B and the 10-digit phone number)

    To unblock -
    Send the following text:
    u <10-digit mobile> to 8888
    at&t Treo 680, SW 2.11-ATT
    Cingular Treo 650 Unlocked, SW 1.17-CNG/FW 1.51
