    Hi,

I use kninoma producer and create files (both video and audio), which I later play using kinoma player.

I store thes file in the dcim folder.

With the 650, these files were ignored. The 680 now sees them.

Can this be stopped? How about if I put them in another directory (I think kinoma has its own directory)? Does the "camera" app only look in the dcim folder.

BTW, the camera app plays the audio file and the small video files, But it wont play the large one saying its too big.

The DCIM folder is the standard place for flash memory applications to store media. I've noticed that even if you don't store media on the card via the Media application it still creates a DCIM folder on the card. I guess this one is more agressive about detecting stuff there. If you put it in a differently named folder that should prevent Media from seeing it.

for kinoma, if you put the files in palm/programs/kinoma, the pic and video app doesnt notice them.
