I searched before posting but nothing came up.

Is there a way to exclude certain files from the Hotsync? I am doing it over Bluetooth between a T650 and new Macbook. The synching works fine, and is faster after the first time, but some files still take a long time....namely email files from Palm Mail. i don't really need these large files backed-up in the Palm folder, as I retrieve the actual emails in the Mac's email client throughout the day.

The same could probably be said for other files that are not accounted for via conduits that can be enabled/disabled to synchronize.

    Any suggestions?

There is a Backup attribute for the files on the Treo. The Backup conduit will backup/restore files which have this attribute set.

You can modify the attributes using FileZ (free) or Resco Explorer.

Perfect. I think I have FileZ so I will check it out and see about setting the attribute. Would that setting be affected by Palm Mail writing/updating the file each time I check email? I wonder.

I am not familiar with the Mac setup.
Maybe this could be achieved by disabling a conduit for Palm Mail. Is there such a thing on the Mac sync program?
