    Questions:

    1) Can I buy one anywhere besides ebay?

    2) Are they easily to replace? Are there any complications.

    Thank ya!

You'll need a TORX 5 driver - Home Depot carries a $5.95 driver set in its tool department. You'll also need a very small (jeweller's) Phillips - I had one, but Big Orange probably carries this as well.

Search on this forum for the instructions someone posted about removing their camera - there are some good disassembly photos.

Of course, replacing the faceplate, you go a bit farther. The circuit boards are attached to the faceplate, so once you get the back off, you've got to unscrew the board from its holding posts (four Phillips if I remember correctly), and remove the keyboard as well (two more Phillips).

The earpiece is held in the faceplate by a rubber surround - remove and reinstall this. The ring/vibrate switch comes over as well.

All in all, it was easy - the whole thing took me about 15 minutes.
