Thank you Bob-C for taking the time to put this campaign together. It's great to see someone who is backing their criticisms with action. Thanks to TC for putting the story on their front page.

Alone we may not accomplish much, together we will be heard. Add my name to the list.

I'm in because I LOVE THE PRODUCT...not because I'm mad about anything but I love that this is a product with such expansive capability that should be discussed and used to its fullest by the developer and the beneficiaries (read, us).

Click the link at the bottom to "digg" the letter too (sign up for an account if you don't have one). If it gets enough digg's all the nerds on the internet take notice and publicity goes up and up.

I completely got fed up waiting and sold my Treo. For $650 it should work better and the company should stand behind their products instead of pushing out other models.

    I totally agree.

    Mr. Colligan

We have supported you thru the years and now it's your turn. We deserve better!!!!! At least a response that will give us some hope that someone is listening. Your silence in deafning

Add me to the list, I have been a long time Palm user and would like to continue to be. An update would be very appreciated.

I'm on the list but have not posted in a bit - so please consider this my confirmation of support.

It's a pity - I'm a few Failed Text messages away from dumping palm and moving to a windows based smartphone.

Count me in ... I don't want to have to switch to a WinMob phone, but I might have to and it's no guarantee that it'll be the 700wx or the 750, so get it together before you lose a long-time (8 years and counting) user.

You know, a good company wakes up and takes notice when loyal customers express serious concerns regarding their products. Doing so not only builds trust but also confidence, which help ensure those longstanding customers stay with the company`s products. Such confidence appears to be on the wane with Palm these days.

In most cases, it`s not until the problem punches a hole in their pockets that a company will finally get up and address it. By the way, does RIMM have these issues? No. That might explain why RIMM stock is worth $135/share, as opposed to $14/share, as in Palm`s case.

I am totally frustrated with Palm's lack of communication and acknowledgement of bluetooth issues. I've also written to Ed Colligan about this but of course got no response. I've purchased every single Treo ever produced and am an early adaptor that many turn to at my company. Now that I've transitioned to WM5, I will have many other options and I have no intention of buying another Palm device unless there is evidence that they are actually listening to people. Just like the thread that spurred your letter, there is another long thread regarding faulty bluetooth connections for WM5 phones.

Count me in. I'm a Treo fan since before the 600. I bought stock in the company....Lack of communication is a killer in every industry. Palm will die in the end because of poor marketing and communication. I will switch to WM only when I have to because of the investment I have in software add-ons to the base software that comes with the Treo. Still, I search this forum and others for information to help me decide what to do next. I get help and advice from Treo owners, nothing from Palm.....Things like will there ever be a 750 on Palm's website for unlocked GSM purchasers? What about WiFi? Bluetooth streaming to car stereo's? Integrating GPS hardware and software... to say nothing of an OS update....

As a Palm shareholder and palm user for 11 years, I'll sign because I would like Palm to make their customers happy and improve communication. Since I deleted chatter, Butler and my MP3 ring managers I have not had any of the issues that are described in the letter. My Treo bluetooth headset has been paired now for 6 months since the day I got my 700p. I really believe the problems are caused by third party software but at least palm could explain to the users the the developers what is causing these problems so they can be resolved.

I have a BT headset that works well (Jabra BT250v) with my 700p, and I'm not having a lot of application lag that I can point to, other than in text messaging. If this issue was added to the letter (since I can only comment on issues I am sure I am experiencing) I would be glad to sign it.

but all of us have the lag. I wish Palm would fix the lag!!! I am thinking of going to the Windows 700wx

    Bottom line:

Palms products are great. Palm managment is not. This managment team has cashed in millions upon millions of dollars in stock options, basically using the company as their own personal ATM machine-does anyone really think they give a rats *** about the end user? Hawkins pulling in 300,000 a week, Colligan about 130K a week, yea they hear the complaints-all the way to the bank.

Look below for sec filings on how many 100's of millions of $$ they have made on stock options (and all this is from Oct 5th to today)

Finally someone took it to the boss! Sign me up as you have my full support. Palm must do something about the 700p. It's such a frustrating experience using this "smartphone" every day **@&(*&*_*&
  19. #139
Count me in as well. Too many random resets, slow OS response and terrible bluetooth operation as well. This from a guy who has never owned a Treo before and waited for this latest iteration expecting much more for the money spent. Thanks for putting this letter together for those of us frustrated waiting on an update. I really dont understand why Palm has waited this long to address some obvious issues that could be fixed with a little programming.
  20. #140
Palm's ineptness in this regard almost appears intentional, and that is what is scarry!
