    Do we have to wait for a ROM Tool or something before a 4 gig card will be supported? If so, I'm not going to upgrade from my 650 until that's fixed.

    I heard somewhere that a 4g card will work, just not in some more advanced format that most of us don't care about anyway.

    Providing the 4GB card is not SDHC, it should work in any unmodified Treo after the 650 series.
    Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 700p > Treo 700wx -> Mogul -> Touch Pro

    About $85 plus $5 shipping from New Egg, for one, where I have had no problems in the past:

    I don't know much about this except what I read, but it appears that this might be SDHC but works anyway. Perhaps not all of the 4G is readable? I also read that only part of the card is readable on a 700P unless you reformat it. Whether that gets you up to the complete 4G is not clear.

    4GB is outside the SD Card Association's standards, thus Palm has no opinion on their compatibility.

    Treoluv: This is rather important: did you run the info on the card and verify that you were getting the full 4GB? What does it say exactly about available space? Thanks.

    Have you run a card info? How much of the 4GB does it actually show it is reading?
