    If you mean do you still need a stereo adapter to connect a normal set of headphones - yes, you still do.

    No changes were made to the plug - it's the same as all of the other Treo's and will connect to a standard wired phone headset and not to a stereo jack.

    I have used the headphone jack on my 650 exactly twice. I scared myself by reading about all of the people who broke their headphone jacks, so I don't use it anymore.

    Well let's just say I use the jack on my 700p becasue I have insurance.

    I actually have two 2.5mm to 3.5mm adopters died on me so now I am using a mono ear bud.

    They actually addressed that problem about 6 months ago on the 650s. The one's that were produced later on had stronger soldering and a little rubber piece that made it a tighter fit.
