I havn't used my headset in a while and now when I try the handsfree setup I get an "Unable to connect to Treo headset" message after I select the Treo headset listed under "All known devices".

How can I get this to work?

    Thanks for the help

A very frequent problem for me too. The trick is to follow the directions that came with the headset EXACTLY:

    1. Make sure the headset is turned off.
    2. On the phone, go to Applications and select Bluetooth.
    3. Make sure Bluetooth is on.
    4. Select Setup Devices, and then select Hands-free Setup.
    5. Press and hold the headset multifunction button for 8 seconds until you see a solid blue light.
    6. On the phone, select Next. When the phone finds your headset, it displays “Treo Headset” with a headphone icon next to it. Select “Treo Headset,” and then select OK.
    7. A status message appears telling you that your phone is connecting with your headset. When your phone asks for a passkey, enter 0000 from your keypad, and then press OK.
    8. On the confirmation screen, select Done.

Especially the ordering of 4, 5 and 6 seems critical, at least for me.

Thanks for the help...the issue was that I wasn't waiting until the headset light turned a solid light as opposed to a blinking light.

    I appreciate it.
