Have a new Sprint Treo 700p - using Exchange Active Sync for calndar, contacts, email, so never hotsynced. Installed BackupBuddy VFS - when I tried to back-up to the card, got: "Some errors were encountered duroing the backup process: not all your files were backed up" Only other third-party software installed is: KeyCaps, Quickipedia, BugMe!. Any way I can find out what are the offending files?
    thanks,

Menu->L within BBVFS will display the log; all files and their dispositions will be listed there. What version are you using?
    V > Vx > m505 > m515 > T/T > T3 > TC > 650 > 680

    Using v. 3.3.1.15
Log shows nothing except date of last failed attempt to backup. Basic screen shows; "Last backup: Never". Advanced screen under "Backup" does show 181 files

A- Try updating to the latest version 4.0.1. Remove all of the previous version from the device including any backup files BBVFS has saved on the card. You can choose the option in BBVFS to "delete backup files". Afterwards, remove BBVFS 3.x from the device and card and download a new 4.01 version from here: http://www.bluenomad.com/bbvfs/bbvfspro.zip

Hopefully this will help out. If you still have trouble, please contact me directly at Blue Nomad Support and I'll be happy to help out.

It happens to me while I use backupbuddy for Windows:

"Cannot backup NetworkDB because it contains a record larger than 65,535 bytes.
Backup failed to validate that AOLChatterDB is valid to backup.
Backup failed to validate that ChatterDrafts is valid to backup.
Backup failed to validate that ChatterIMbox is valid to backup.
Backup failed to validate that ChatterLog is valid to backup.
Backup failed to validate that ChatterOutbox is valid to backup.
Backup failed to validate that ChatterSentItems is valid to backup.
Backup failed to validate that ChatterSummary is valid to backup."

    Any ideas or fix? Thanks...

    Rhino:

I suggest you take Bobby's suggestion and contact Blue Nomad support directly. They know a lot more about the software than most of us here.

Just FYI, I've also had issues with Backup Buddy VFS. Some files/programs it never backs up properly, such as Garmin Que software - in fact it crashes during restore. Granted this is a complex software suite with many files, but had hoped BBVFS would be a "backs up and restores for sure" solution. Fortunately I've figured out how to restore Que quickly and relatively painlessly via a "reinstall" feature that preserves existing data.
