I purchased a small, USB card reader, and that helped me with my 2gb SD card (move, delete files, etc). Hope that helps.

I believe any Treos 700 and up format their SD cards using a FAT32 process. If you are going to use it in your TREO -- you might as well format it with your Treo is my thought . . . . . . not sure about the Mac process.

600s & 650s had FAT16 and were limited to 2gb at the highest.

700s have FAT32 and can do larger than 2gb.

If you have FileZ (a freeware file manager) you can look at the files in internal ROM and see if you have a file that says FAT16 or FAT32.

    Cheers, Perry.

    click on downloads
    select FileZ

BTW -- nosleep's Student homework/assignment software is good, as well.
