    Enhance your phone

    http://www.shsh.com/cc_all.gif

    * Calling cards:
    ================
    - Define multiple call card rules for automating access
    to calling card systems (you call a 'normal' phone
    number, CallCards automatically wraps it with calling
    the access-number, adding PIN, passwords, and the target
    number).

    - Rules can also be used for other number re-formatting
    like adding area codes, removing/replacing prefixes, etc.

    * Extra-digits:
    ===============
    - Enables the use of extra-digits (pauses & extensions)
    in phone numbers stored in the built-in "Contacts"
    or "KeyContacts" database.

    - Works with the built-in application, as well as 3rd
    party applications, such as KeyContacts, VoiceDial, etc.

    * Capturing:
    ============
    - Select (highlight) a number or address in any 3rd
    party application, and press the PHONE button to
    call/SMS/email/browse it.

    * "Define and forget":
    ======================
    Once you configure and enable CallCards - it does it's
    work in the background, without a need for your intervention.

    Shimon,

    Do you have to uninstall outcall before installing this?
    I currently don't have and don't want takePHONE using the phone button. Will this take over the phone button? Does it work like Outcall?

    Hi,

    No need to uninstall OutCall, but you dont need it, too - so you can delete it.

    CallCards capture does not require the PHONE button - you can assign it to the built-in PHONE app.

    Hi all,

    Just posted version 1.61 (004) at www.shsh.com/beta

    - Call-Cards: Added the option in main “Advanced” screen, to set each
    call-card rule to be active only when roaming.

    - Capture: do not use Clipboard.

    - Bug fix: do not reformat numbers for incoming calls.

    - Bug fix: fixed issue with long call-card rules – was duplicating dialed
    numbers.

    - Bug fix: fixed error causing call-log entries not to be fixed for
    certain calls.

    Thanks !

    With version 1.61 (004), on my 650, when I highlight a number and hold down the Phone Key (Hard Key #1!) then I see CallCards briefly and then it goes to my phone app.

    My bad. I misread the [perfectly clear ] instructions to say not "press" but "hold down"

    The extra digit dialing is wonderful! Thank you.

    A GREAT addition would be a "landline" mode, where it doesn't just intercept the call and add digits, it intercepts the whole call and spits DTMF out the speaker, avoiding cell charges, esp those nasty roaming charges one tends to get when traveling.

    Nice idea - I could route it to TeleTone...

    Any further comment on likelyhood of implementation or timing? I was probably premature in purchasing TeleTone in anticipation of this feature, but I've gotten good value from CallCards.

    Hi,

    I am just posting a quickfix for VoiceDial.

    I will most probably do it on later version, but I am real busy right now with TAKEphONE 7.00...

    Hi all,

    Version 1.61 (005) posted at www.shsh.com/beta

    - VoiceDial: Fix for extra digits translation.

    - General: Added a setting for emergency number (e.g. 911) –
    so it does not get re-formatted.

    Thanks.

    Hi Shimon,

    I am using version 1.61 (004) with my Treo680 and Jabra BT500v. So when I try to use ny BT500v to dial and CallCards is enabled all sound goes to Treo and not to BT500v even BT-handsoff icon is appearing on top of display. If I disable CallCards (and all festaures like extra-dials rules) my BT500v works fine.

    Could you check if there is a mistake from my part or the 1.61 (005) will not have this problem (I will download and check it too).

    Thanks a lot,

    Valter

    oh-oh...my mistakes, sorry...

    It seems that when callcards is enabled and I try to do or to answer a call using my Jabra BT500v (bluetooth headset) all sound goes to Treo and not to headset even with a headset icon (and not handsoff..I was trying to express hands-free, sorry) appearing on top of display....if I disable callcards, everything runs ok.

    TIA,

    Hi,

    I see.
    Unfortunately - my own BT headset just broke, so I will have to get a new one.
    Can you all recommend what the best one for Treo 680 might be ?

    I like the Treo BT Headset. It works well and the biggest plus is that it uses the same charger as the phone.

    BTW: My headset works just fine with CallCards enabled. Everything is normal. This is on a Treo 700p with the Treo headset.

    Hi all,

    Version 1.61 (010) posted at www.shsh.com/beta

    - Added buttons in "Simple" call-cards tab to allow editing of larger
    "replace with..." fields.
