I guess that's what I mean. I had an older version of TakePhone that had a darker blue color. I installed the latest beta today and the background is a little different. Subtle, but I liked the old one better. Thanks.

Try this one. Under 2Day's preferences, select "Images..." for skin, and then select whatever background you want.

Thanks. I looked at some of your other skins, and the one I'm thinking of is the same style as Teal Opaque or Burgundy, only it was blue. Any chance you could make something like that? Thanks!

Oops, I misread your request about which wallpaper in which release. For the wallpaper used in the previous "beta" version, in all the colors, along with other skin choices, check out the link in my signature. If you're looking only for the wallpapers, then they're available in this download

    Hope that helps!

While in the Dialpad page of TAKEphONE, when I start by entering '+' followed by the numbers, the '+' does not register. This is not an issue in the main page, where once TAKEphONE figures that I am dialling a number it registers the '+' and the numbers that follow. Since the Dialpad page is specifically meant for only dialling numbers there is absolutely no reason why the '+' should not register without pressign the option button before it. Also, since it works fine on the main page, I see no reason why it should not work on the Dialpad page. In case anyone is wondering why the '+' before the number, '+' is used as the code for international dialing by all cellular networks, like in the US, you would dial '011' before the international code
followed by Area/City code and then the number. I, as a matter of habit, dial all numbers in the format that I save them in my phone book, ie. '+' + 'International code' + 'City Code' + 'Number v (+1 555-555-5555) thus it is a problem for me as I am sure it must be for others also who dial this way.

PS: Just to clarify if I press the Option button and then press '+', it does register. But the point is that it should work without having to press the Option button at all. The '+' sign should be considered as part of the actual dial pad and dialling procedure.

    Thank you.

I suspect this is a huge can of worms and if it is, please disregard. Would it be possible to add the network type icon somewhere in takephone, Specifically the EVDO and 1X icon (from CDMA)? I'm not sure what the GSM versions have and I suspect the icons are different based upon carrier. That is the only reason I go into the built-in phone app anymore.
  13. #1253
I thought it did this already. Blue triangle for evdo, and green for 1x ???

    Hi all,

    New version - 7.55 (077) - posted at www.shsh.com/beta

    - Dialpad: allow '+' when dialing manually.

    - ”Add to...” mode: show title in FIND screen when saving
    from DIALPAD screen.

    - ”Add to...” mode: do not cancel when zooming to find results.

    - Zooming: if “zoom if less than 10 matches” is on, but
“open details on single match” not – do not open details on
a single match, but rather open ZOOM screen.

    - Misc.: do not draw clock while in a menu.

    Thanks.

When I copied version 7.55 (077) over to the phone, it did not ask to overwrite the previous build. That raised a flag and then when I checked in TAKEphONE the build reported was still the old one. Then upon checking with the File Manager, I saw that both versions of TAKEphONE were present. Also, I noticed that the older build version 7.55 (074) is 580kb while the new build is only 362kb. Seems like something is not right here. Or is it?

    PS: Thanks for:
    - Dialpad: allow '+' when dialing manually.

    Hi,

yes - that's probably because I named the installer of the newer build differently than the "real" app name.

    Will fix this.

    Thanks.

What about the file size, is that right? You must have really tweaked the software for it to have come down in size and that to, so substantially.

It looks like the download size is compressed, and when it's installs via "nutinstaller", it "unzips" to it's full installed size (613k).

Hi.. Using the last beta I all of a sudden started getting the following problem. When I launched TP I got a "Clear All" Message in a text box in the middle of the screen and my Phone became unresponsive. Tried doing a reset and it did it again. Stuck on Access screen a long time.. thought it was toast.. but I was able to get it to reboot with a power up reset. Not very helpful since I can't use the phone in this state...
