How do I do this without the caller hearing DTMF?
    Hi,

What version are you using ?

    Shimon,

Okay, I tried it without PhoneDisconnect and got the same result. When I get a call and press "Ignore" the TAKEphONE screen returns with <<In Call>> at the top. When I miss a call and dismiss the "Missed Call" dialog box the TAKEphONE screen returns with <<In Call>> at the top.

In both cases, when I switch to another screen and the back to the Find screen I get the proper title in the title box - "Sprint".

    I'm using 7.00 build 011 on a 700P.

    Hi,

    I cant recreate this.
    Can you give me a step-by-step ?

Does this happen on EVERY incoming call ?
Or just when you are in TAKEphONE ?

Here's something I would like. I use the setting "Return after All calls" because I don't like/want/need to ever see the builtin dialer. But often during a call, I go to another app and start doing some work there. (Usually this is the calendar where I am entering information I get from the caller.) Then if the call ends before I have finished entering all the information, I am exited from that app and taken to the TAKEphONE screen. Is there a way to get TAKEphONE to not interrupt an active app when a call ends, but still never take me to the builtin dialer?? Also, if I don't enter an app during a call, it would be best to return to whichever app was running before the call. But that is a secondary request.

    Thoughts?

It only happens when I'm in TAKEphONE or TAKEphONE was the last app I was using. What I noticed today is that the <<In a call>> comes up as soon as the phone starts to ring. Here's what happens:

    1. TAKEphONE was last app used.
    2. Call comes in, TAKEphONE header changes from Sprint to <<In a call>>.
    3. Incoming call dialog pops up.
    4. Phone stops ringing (goes to voicemail).
    5. Missed Call dialog pops up over TAKEphONE.
    6. Press "OK" to dismiss Missed Call dialog.
    7. TAKEphONE screen displays and <<In a call>> is in the header.

    Hi,

Not sure this can be done - unless TAKEphONE tries to launch an application, the built-in PHONE app will launch itself.
Only thing I can think of doing is for TAKEphONE to launch the current app, but that is like terminating the app, then launching it again - will cause a flicker on screen, and involve terminating the app - not what you want...

Yes, you are right, that is not what I want. I understand this might be out of your control, but here is a datapoint that might be useful.

I use PowerRun (which lets me store apps on the SD card) and whenever I exit an app that I started with PowerRun, I can see at the top of the screen where PowerRun informs me that it is copying files back to the SD card. If I receive a call while using a PowerRun run app, then when the call exits, I see PowerRun gets called and does copy the app back to the SD card BEFORE either TAKEphONE or the builtin dialer get called. So there is some hook being called and I wonder if there isn't some deviously evil way to take over that hook to accomplish this??

    Just some thoughts.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Yes - I can hook there, but I can not prevent the PHONE app from being launched, I can only do stuff (like PowerRun saves to the card), or replace the app being launched.

If I launch the current app - afraid it will still terminate it, then re-launch it...

    Hi,

Afraid this means the target cellular does not accept the VCARD format.
Can you send from that cellular back to the Treo ?

    Hi all,

    Just posted version 7.00 (016) at www.shsh.com/beta

    - “Missed calls”: Added icon in status line for missed calls.

    - “Map helper”: Added support for MAP applications (such as KwikMaps,
Google Maps) – launch them to show a map of a contact address.

    - “Return after call”: Added option to return after ALL OUTGOING calls
(to allow using with the Treo 680 “Ignore with text” feature).

    - “Call log”: Fixed bug in ‘buttons’ view – used to always open the first
    entry details when pressing OK.

    - “Speed dial”: Added “skip empty pages” option.

    - “Navigation”: Added various options by users requests.

    Thanks.

Yes - it is supposed to look like this.
Most cellulars should be able to recognize it.
Not sure about the Treo itself, though...

    Shimon,
I have three primary screens I use: ZLauncher, TakePhone, and 2Day. TP is the only screen I can't see 4Cast in. Would it e possible to add a plug in for 4Cast to TP?

Also, selecting "down" button opens zoom does not stick. Somehow it turns itself off.

    Thanks.

I'm seeing the same behavior - the pref is not sticking.

My navigation option did not make it into this build probably my top wishlist right now. (Option to press 'up' to enter 5-way puts focus on the '2' or '5')
