WFAN is now streaming using a StreamTheWorld stream which looks like it requires an Adobe Flash Player. Does anyone know if there is any way to stream this with a 700P?

Can someone who's upgraded to the new Kinoma player please see if you can get WFAN to stream? I'm concerned I may need to replace the 700P soon because of this. Thanks!!!

Yes but Blazer still does not. you may be able to make it work if you knew the actual url for the audio stream.

This also works (the asx stream above doesn't seem to work on the PC):

    http://provisioning.streamtheworld.com/pls/WFANAM.pls
    Palm III > HS Visor > Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 750 > Treo Pro > PrePlus GSM

I Love WFAN. When I use both streams on 700p with kinoma 4, I get buffering every 10 to 20 seconds. Is there anything I can do.
    thanks.

I think it's a Kinoma issue. If you have ptunes deluxe try the pls stream there and see if it buffers

Thanks for telling me to use pocket tunes. It works much better than kinoma. I wonder why I need to use kinoma at all?

If you want to stream mobile WMV9 and Flash use Kinoma player. If you want to stream audio, you have lots of options.

Worked fine for me. Who is your provider? T-mobile?

Anyone know how to get the "Low Bandwidth" stream rather than the "High Bandwidth" one.

If you go to this URL with Internet Explorer ( http://cbsplayer.streamtheworld.com/...ALLSIGN=WFANAM ) you will see that there is a high and low bandwidth option.

When I go to http://provisioning.streamtheworld.com/pls/WFANAM.pls using Pocket Tunes, I get the 48KBPS stream but I'd rather get the 32KBPS stream.

Actually, I'm trying to do this for WCKG in Chicago. ( http://cbsplayer.streamtheworld.com/...ALLSIGN=WCKGFM )
