Ok those of you who have discovered www.pandora.com - the thing is VERY cool. Let's get those folks to get an app to let us listen on our TREO's!

Isn't that a flash based app. Probably hard to change to wmv streaming.

It's cool but it only has way way way mainstream stuff.

Ya - but it's cool - I like to stream my XM and then the Pandora too - really take advantage of the EVDO streaming cap

I have recently become a pandora fanatic! Listening on the Treo would be the dopest **** ever. I have a station called "Lemon Jelly Radio" - NONE of it is mainstream.....

I would really love Pandora on the Treo, since this post is so old though, I'd say the odds of it happening aren't very high

Yeah, I was just using Pandora yesterday for the first time in a while and decided it'd be awesome to have on my Treo, so first thing I did was search here.

I like Pandora also. I came across this article today that will allow Pandora on select sprint phones for a fee. I don't know if this includes the treo or not. It sucks you have to pay for it. They should make a java client or something.

I've contacted them about this and they said "mobile devices are not YET supported". Don't get too excited, though: the rest of the reply seemed fairly pessimistic about the chances.

Here is Sprint's press release on Pandora http://www2.sprint.com/mr/news_dtl.do?id=16780

Pandora is now available on five Sprint Power Vision phones: the FUSIC by LG, A900 and A920 by Samsung, and 7500 and 8400 by Sanyo. By the end of June, Pandora will be available on all Sprint Power Vision phones. Pandora on Sprint, which includes both ad-free online and mobile access, is available for a no-charge trial for the first 30 days and then costs an additional $2.99 per month with a Power Vision data plan (standard Power Vision charges apply). To download, select the "Web" icon on the phone's main menu and then type "Pandora" in the search option. For more information, visit Pandora's newly redesigned website, www.pandora.com.

Main thing I wondner is, even though its fairly cheap, we have regular data connections and web browsing--we should be able to listen via our browsers.

Since Pandora uses Flash, we need a way to stream flash audio to the phone.

The big deal about pandora is that it works kind of like Tivo, and based upon your likes and dislikes, and judging of its slections for you, will tune a channel to fit your tastes.
