I've been using TCPMP to play my movies (ripped from DVDs, encoded with XVID to an .avi. Apparently kinoma doesn't have the codec for .avi files, only .mp4/.mov/.asf/.wmv....

Now I'm happy with TCPMP as a movie player...just as I'm happy with pTunes as a .mp3 player, and Kinoma as a live radio streaming source...but these are all 3 large programs and I'm trying to cut at least one of them out.

So what's the best way to handle Kinoma video? I'd rather not purchase Kinoma Producer...and am on a Mac at home....
