soft reset maybe cleared some leftovers. i'd be alright with a 3 meg increase.

On my Treo 650, such an unexpected increase in RAM almost always means that I've lost my Snappermail email databases.

Thanks for the reply. I don't have a 3rd party e-mail app. My address, calendar, tasks, and memo dbs are all intact. I have systematically gone through all of my apps, and I can't find any problems.

I probably shouldn't be concerned about this, but it is un-nerving!

Maybe the Blazer cache got deleted in the process?

I often find that if I install a trial version of a new app, decide I don't like it and delete it, I'll wind up with a moderate increase in free RAM (as reported by LauncherX). Is it real or just creative accounting? I dunno.
