    added pdanet to my treo700p (trial version) and loved it so far... before i purchase, any thoughts on this one or others?

    my main question is how can i get my treo to do gps mapping... i know with nextel, you can get the gps locator info... is there a way to do real time mapping such as the map at the top of www.hitch50.com?

    or is there a way to even map after the fact?

    im new to google maps (downloaded kmaps as well and cant get the map contacts thing to work...) and have started to research the whole gps thing (about to search here now that im registered) but would like any leads or inof.

    thanks in advance

    Check out this thread:

    Basically, you will need an external GPS unit to connect to your Treo. The GPS built into the Treo is AGPS, which doesn't do you much good. Do a search for AGPS if you want to know more details about it.
    Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 700p > Treo 700wx -> Mogul -> Touch Pro
    You may like to flash, but your phone shouldn't. LED Killer
