Here is an example of winmedia formatted audio streaming. Easy listening format.....

Works with Kinoma 4EX on my Treo 650

Any chance this now makes streaming XM Radio feeds possible for XM subscribers on a Treo 650?

I did. I didn't do anything special. Apparently I've downloaded a .wmv file and it shows up under kinoma 4, and it plays.

Scratch that. It shows up, but doesn't play well at all.

Help! I'm no longer able to stream WFAN on my 700P. The link in thestreamcenter.com is now requires a "StreamTheWorld" player to play the stream. Can someone please see if you can get WFAN to play in the new Kinoma player? Thanks!!!

I bet you are looking at a WMV 8, 7 or something older than WMV9

Try xstreamxm.com. Just login using the same account you setup for desktop streaming, and then pick a channel. Both the low and high bandwidth streams work.

I wonder why it not backward compatible with older versions of WMV?

Does anybody have an idea where the folder for videos downloaded by Kinoma is? I have looked all over the card with FileZ and can't seem to find it. I have even looked in this file path: card/Palm/Programs/Kinoma

    Thanks, Cigar

I don't know about Google(haven't tried it yet) but YouTube works for me.

You're saving the videos not bookmarking?
    How do you do it?

I'd be curious about this too... I haven't found any way to save YouTube videos either....

On google videos an sd card icon displays in the top right corner of the screen. Click this and it'll save to the card.

I actually found the path for video is card/palm/programs/kinoma.

I forgot the name of the file I was looking for. Now that I have found that, I have an .mpg in that path, but it is not recognized by Kinoma. Any ideas? I tried renaming the extension .mp4, but that did not work. Thanks

I was waiting on palm to fix the 700p issues, but looks like this lil app will give me everything I was missing... xm, & wmv & youtube to boot... looks like I'm gonna have my 650 another year or so now
