I don't think we should wait for mods to try and get an answer from palm about the update. I just sent an email to palm and hope some of u will back me up and do the samething. I sent it saying what I felt about the whole situation. I cant do it buy myself so if we all flood their support inbox with same issuse maybe that will get them to take us more seriously. This can't go on longer its not right so here is the link to flood their in box and also join their form and start a thread about the update and flood them there. We are here we want our update and we won't go away palm.

once u have done this please post back here and say that u have done this and whatever else u wanna say about the situation

I created a post over at the palm forums. I ask that everyone having the 700p lag issue respond to it there to let Palm know this is a real issue and that we expect a fix.

If the direct link to the forum post does not work for you then go to http://forums.palm.com and search for 2031094. This will give you my forum post there.

EDIT: I sent an email using Geezy's link and pointed them to my post on their forum.

    Stroths:

Your link doesn't work for me on Mac running 10.4.6; tried Safari and Firefox, both up-to-date. All I get is a big blank screen--reminded me of our detested 700p White Screen of Death...!

I also get the error you get with Geezy's link.

Any advice? Does the link work for you if you just revisit and click? Others?

    B*tch well, all.

I reminded them that the 700p is on 2 big networks here, and users on both networks are effected by the bugs. Hopefully they'll hear us.

The firmware update hasn't come because they can't figure out how to fix the "lag". Soon they will do damage control and release some token firmware update that probably won't even fix the problems at hand...but kudos for trying.

They sent me an email saying they can't confirm nor deny any product development or potential changes to an existing product. As Cartman would say, "Weak!"

Keep sending those emails and add your comments to my post on the Palm board.

That IS weak! If this many people are having problems, they need to take complaints more seriously and give some REAL answers!
HP has officially ruined it's own platform and kicked webOS loyalists and early TouchPad adopters to the curb. You think after you drop it like a hot potato and mention it made no money and is costing you money, anyone else wants it??? Way to go HP!!

And some people are fools to keep believing their hype. HP has shown they will throw webOS under the bus and people are still having faith in them??? News flash: if it's own company won't stand behind it, it's finished!

Notice how Palm never directly addresses the issues people are having and did not offer any real suggestions on how to cope with them. This is a well written NON-response, LOL!

I left a message on the forums, and filled out the form.

I suggest that when we get those "customer satisfaction surveys" we let them have it.
