So does the Paid version of Verichat 2.89 work without issue? I just upgraded to a sprint 700p and will feel real lost if I cant get Verichat or something similar to work.

    Thanks all for the thread.

2.89 does work however you may experience issues with the 'always on' mode where you will be kept as online and will recieve msgs via SMS. sometimes (90% actually) the person sending you a message will recieve an error saying that it cannot connect to the sms server or something. the program runs fine though if you odn't have the 'always on' mode on.

I don't see the "Use Data Connection" for an option for staying Always-On.

All I get is the Use SMS. Any clue? I am using 2.89b on a Sprint Treo 700p

Here is basically the options I see:

    Always-On Mode: Enabled/Disabled
    < > Use SMS
< > Refress conn. on reset
    < > Disconnect n/w in SMS mode

    < > Schedule Login/Logout
    Login At: (place time here)
    Logout At: (place time here)

I would love to use my data connection but it does not seem to be an option.

Sounds like you don't have 2.89b. You could try just enabling the always on mode and not checking the Use SMS checkbox.
