    anyone having this trouble
I have it set that if I hold a key down it goes from e-1-E
but when I hold down the key it erases the charcter before my cursor and then puts the numerial, why when I hold down key is it backspacing before adding new character
how does everyone have keycaps setup, what is the newest version

A search would have found you this:

I'm using the latest version from here (0.9.1b), and have no problems. I have keycaps set to e-E-1, so you might want to try that if you have the current version.

What other apps are you running? It could be an interaction between keycaps and something else. As I think of it, there was a problem with some versions of Butler's keylaunch that did this backspace/delete thing. If you're using Butler, make sure you have the latest version, and set the Keycaps option under Navigation appropriately.
