In Blazer, Under "Preferences" in the "Advanced" tab there is a setting "Set memory Limit for Storing Pages"

    2 Questions:

Why is 3.9mb the max number I can get?. I could almost swear I used to have that set at 8mb. No matter how many times I try to use a higher number it always is set at 3.9

    What exactly is this for?

    thanks

8mb is the max setting in preferences. I don't know why it defaults back to 3.9mb. Something may be conflicting. Do a soft reset and set cache level to 8mb and see if it sticks. If not, do a hard reset and load your apps one at a time to try to eliminate the culperate if any, but make sure you have everything else backed up prior, contacts pref. etc.

I had my cache size shrinking all the time. I'm wondering if it has to do with the largest chunk size in the RAM. But I'm no expert when it comes to palm memory allocation stuff. Just a thought.
