Manilenio, yes, that is the easy way to get them to your phone....but if you only want a small section of the MIDI file for the ringtone, you'll need a program like PSMPLAY to trim off the unwanted sections.

I want to use a .wav for a ringtone on my treo 650. So I emailed it to myself on the phone and then opened the attachment. It opened and played with the wave player on the treo. The problem is this sound doesn't appear in the sounds and alerts list after I do this. I know I've copied sounds to my treo in this manner before so I'm not sure what's changed.

Anyone have any suggestions on getting this sound into the Sounds & Alerts listing?
