I was wondering what is the point of powerrun? I have read about it but I still don't understand cause I run applications off my sd card all the time without power run.

Just wondering if it is worth getting for a treo 700p?

    Thanks for your opinions.

The difference between powerrun and running programs from /palm/launcher is that powerrun moves not just the program but also the associated databases for that program. When you run the program it copies the program and its databases to ram then when you quit the program it moves everything back to the card. Saves you that much more memory.

Not sure, never tried. Ive always just used 1 card, no reason to put programs across multiple cards.

I don't see the point of using Powerrun on the 700p. Its a godsend for the 650 due to its limited memory, but the 700p has plenty.

Totally agree. PowerRun is a savior for 650 users that run alot of applications. My friend has a 650 and he needs it. He has asked me if I want it and I laugh and show him all the memory my 700p has left.
