    I cannot hot sync with my computer. i have been told by the Cingular retail that the problem is with the hardware as it appears to be tarnished and/or corroded. I have replaced the cord/link on three occasions with no luck; therefore, I have to assume that the weak link is indeed the connection in the phone itself. My questions now is: what next? Do I send it off to some place unknown, any advice?

    See if you can do a bluetooth sync, if your computer has bluetooth.
