I'm sure someone out there can help me.

I really need to know how to get back to 1.12 from 1.13 (sprint)

I installed the suggested update 1.13 and now desktop crashes to no end....

no one at sprint seems to know how....... really driving me crazy, please help..

The update causing the desktop to crash? hardly likely. The old stuff, have you uninstalled the old desktop? I would do that first, but first before doing the other first, I would first copy the existing user files to another folder then delete the desktop, reboot, reinstall it and go from there. I have never had a problem with an update.

    thanks..
I did try that already, twice.
uninstalled palm desktop, re-installed. didn't help.
even uninstalled all third party software.
sprint tech support walked me through uninstalling including deleting registry files etc.
even had my it guy look at it.
funny thing is, I sync on my work comp. and my home comp.

the day I installed the 1.13 patch, my palm desktop started crashing, both at home and work.

I don't see how it could NOT be the patch????

I guess I'll never know since I can't get it off lol

Do a system restore and set your computer back to an earlier date when you had 1.12.

lol, nevermind, it was not the update patch that was the problem.

AFter 2 hours of tech support w/sprint, my it guy, and lots of uninstall and reinstall.....

my wife sat at the computer for 2 mintues and found the "fix corrupted files" button on the desktop and there were 374 corrupted files...
    problem solved

yes..... not only for that reason lol

but anyways... for years I never knew about this..

it's under tools, options, then under the tools tab, you will find a button check and repair any corrupted files...
and I had 374 corrupted contacts somehow lmao... anyways, I clicked it and all was fixed in about 3 seconds and I did not loose any info...

no more crashing now and everything is working fine...

now I just need to decide whether or not to get the 700P
