I have tried to use realplayer and windows media to transfer music I tried Pocket Tunes with windows media 10 and 11 as well

My treo is workingw ith my pc just not detected through windows media.

I tried to install the driver for realplayer but says page not available.

Is there any other way to get Music onto my Treo. I have a 1 gig card in it etc etc

    Lemme know

    Thanks

If you want to do it via Hotsync make sure that Media is checked. Right click on the Hotsync icon then selecet Custom, set media to Sync Files. Then you can use the Palm desktop software to transfer files. It's PAINFULLY slow. I use a card reader, supper fast and bullet proof.

Have you read through the Pocket Tunes Knowledgebase article on this? Note that PT doesn't work with WMP 11; the article has a link to instructions on downgrading to WMP 10: http://www.normsoft.com/kb/idx/19/116/article/

That being said, leardvr is right. Unless you need to install DRMed music from an online music store, it's much easier just to move the songs to your SD card with an SD card reader.

Run the install program for PocketTunes. This will install the drivers. make sure in the menu of Ptunes, under copy from PC, you have MTP selected. That should work but it is still faster to just use a card reader to transfer songs.

I'm using WMP 10 and was able to transfer music to my Card [removed from Treo and inserted into Card Reader attached to PC] by simply using the WMP sync feature - when choosing device to sync, I select the Card. Once done, pop the card back into Treo, fire up the "TRIAL" version of PTunes -- only to discover PTUNES TRIAL does not play WMA files - so much for the test drive and of course you notice the small print on the site after the fact. So I still haven't been able to test music on my T650 yet - but all of the chatter about skipping has me wondering if I should look elsewhere b4 purchasing...
