I have approximately 2,000 student ID photos I want to move from my desktop to my Treo SD card. Initial attempts via a card reader haven't worked--I don't see the file when the card is in the handheld. I don't want to move individual jpegs one at a time (I'll have to redo it every year with new incoming students). Is there a way to move the whole file at once into a format the Treo can read?

To which directory are you moving the pics? They need to be in /DCIM/.
    V > Vx > m505 > m515 > T/T > T3 > TC > 650 > 680

Activehealth - what you should have are 2000 individual jpg files in a directory on the hard drive of a workstation. You should be able to either grab all 2000 jpgs in the Windows Explorer program of your workstation (assuming you are using Windows) by clicking on the first file in your list of jpgs, holding down the shift key and then clicking on the last file in your list to highlight ALL 2000 files easily and then either drag and drop the files onto the SD card in your card reader OR - with your list of 2000 jpg files highlighted, hit control C and then navigate to your SD card under My Computer and then control V to paste all 2000 files onto your card. It should be that simple.

DCIM is Treo's default expansion card directory for images; if you don't move your images into that directory, the Treo won't be able to see them.

Put SD card in card reader.
Make a new directory in ?:/DCIM/ named whatever you want
? is the drive letter of the SD card.
Select all the images or the directory
Copy the files to the card reader.

Now, you don't want to use the built-in media program to look at the images, it's godawful slow. Resco Viewer would be ideal IMO, Resco Explorer will work, as will some other programs.
