That second link is my favorite of the week! Cheers and thank you for a great find...

On Demand -- free & already on your 700p. (I also use it for real-time stats updates on sports, as well as news & movies).

I have xWeather, nice updates, details and a good looking interface. I open it up and based on my settings it gets the latest data for me. I can add any zip code I want and keep that profile until I don't need it which is great for vacations and tracking the weather before and during. Just wish Fizz Weather was a Palm OS app.

I use 4Cast primarily - a great app. like on demand weather as well - however, it has been anywhere between 5-10 degrees off on its forecast the past couple of weeks. not sure what they are using to get the info, but a few days ago, it was predicting 94 and it hit 103. not even close. ymmv of course.

It is also being sold at http://www.treoalarm.com/ for a lot of money.
I use Treoalarm. Just got a message that I have 7 days left. It is nice, but not worth $19. Can someone post the freeware version? Otherwise, I will delete. Most capabilities in other applications.

Same thing here - mine expired after 30 days. I have not seen a free version.

I am using HourlyXCast (nice program for a $1!) and I also have a Sharklink set up to go directly to Accuweather. Plus I can get my local ABC TV station's weather forecast on their mobile site. 3 choices are plenty!

Honestly I just log into "OnDemand" and check my local weather, it allows you to click on a button for a map as well. Its not animated but its free.

    This:
    http://www.freewarepalm.com/clock/treoalarm.shtml

...appears to be the freeware version of TreoAlarm... The copyright notice is slightly different in this one, with "Expires" having a "N/A" against it.

(NOTE: This does not appear to be "cracked" software as it appears on a legitimate (freewarepalm) website)

Works well for me as long as you view it as HTML.

That is very odd.. The site is legit, but the file I'm surprized at. I suspect someone updated the file from the ancient .8x or something version, which was basically free.

And no, don't pay for TreoAlarm. It crashes on me at least once a week when it does its alarm+weather. I've stopped using it for an alarm because I don't trust it, althought it still works okay for weather when it'll update. Definately NOT worth $20.

Agendus has weather in it, as does several other, 4cast, etc. Going online isn't necessarily always an option. Viewing weather in an application takes about 1s. Viewing it online involves launching Blazer, browsing your bookmarks, waiting for the connection and download to finish.. At least 20s I'm guessing.

I like 4Cast for detailed weather info. Auto updates every 3 hours.
I use Agendus for "today" screen quick weather info. Auto updates every 12 hours. You can also get weather info for your contact locations directly from the contacts screen.
Tried xWeather and liked it, but automatic updates still aren't available from what I can tell.

I use HourlyXCast too. The price is great and it gives me a detailed hourly forecast, which is what I need.
