Is there a way to ensure that the network shuts down when you are not using it? For example, when I shut down the web browser it seems the network remains connected even though the indicator light does not say so. I can go into Prefs and manually shutdown the network, but that is a pain. Is there a way to automatically shut it down, or a third party app that will do this?

    Thanks!
