    i have 4 Gigs SD Card Transcend 150x speed for my treo 650 GSM. but it didn't work.

    anyone knows why? or treo 650 not support 4GB SD Card? thanks

    For anything over 2GB, you need a "custom rom" with "FAT32". Try searching on those terms for more details.

    it bit a scary step to creating a custom ROM...
    (treo 650 in indonesia quite expensive :P )

    but i'll try to learn

    if i partition the 4GB sdcard became 2 partition (2 GB per partition), will my treo 650 read the partition? what program can i use to partition my 4 GB SD card?

    I'm not sure about partitioning an SD card. Window XP will partition disk drives but I've not tried it with memory cards.

    You can partition it using fdisk under Linux. You can only set the boot flag on one partition though, and without the FAT32 driver, only the first 2GB will be readable anyways. So if you partition it, you can still only use the first 2GB.
