Why is it if I want to go to page 2 of my favorite buttons I first have to go down to go right? Why can't I just go straight across? I have "contacts" and "SMS" at the top of page 1 as my favorite buttons (if that has anything to do with it?). Is there a way I can scroll directly to page 2 without have to go down to row 2 first? Thanks!

I think it is impossible. Or if you do not want to scroll, remember and press a key associated with an application you want to run.
I also wonder if it is possible to remove ALL shortcuts from my favourite pages?

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking...?

I getcha, and yes you have discovered a little inconvenience...
When a 650 user is at the default Phone app, and you can have one (or two) rows of favorites visible under your dialpad numbers. Well, if you put favorites there (you have 10 pages of 14 favorites possible), you cannot scroll horizontally from page 1 to page 2, etc., without first scrolling down past the rows of favorites visible under your keypad...

I have two rows of favorites visible under my keypad (on page 1) of favorites. If I want to scroll to my favorites on page 2 (etc.), I first have to scroll down so that all my page 1 favorites take over the screen, before I can scroll "Right" to page 2 favorites.

So, what we were hoping, is that you can scroll from the favorites on page 1, Row 1, directly to favorites on page 2, laterally, to the right, without having to go down first.

I hope this clarifies, even though I am unaware of a fix for this, to do exactly what was originally asked. My fix was show 2 rows of favorites, and to put "TakePhone" 'Call Log', 'Contacts', and "Web" as the 4 favorites visible. I rarely need anything else showing, I use these 4 buttons 98% of the time...

    Bill Gamble,
I just mean how to delete those factory pre-installed favourite shortcuts: QuickTour, Web, VersaMail, Camera, RealPlayer, Contacts, Messaging. It seems to be impossible - there is no delete option as opposed to those shortcuts you add manually which you can easily delete.

I still don't understand the question. Do you guys have your favourites on the same screen as your dial pad? I can either have a full dial pad, or a full favourites page. Is my phone app configured differently?

On my unlocked GSM Treo 650, in the Phone app, under General Preferences, I have selected "Show Dial Pad" and have checked "Show Favorite Buttons".

    Bill Gamble,
Thanks dude!!!! I did it!!!!!! Used Resco Explorer instead, but it is all the same.

I use a wallpaper picture instead of a dialpad, with hidden favourite pages, it looks pretty nice.
