    I made this list for a friend who is getting a 700p and is new to the world of Treos - and asked me what else he needed to get. I told him there are a few more things he will need. I thought Id share the list with the group. It would be interesting to see what others consider essential.

    Must haves are a good case and/or screen protector, a back up program, a memory card, ptunes deluxe, usbmodem (if using a mac), Directory Assistant, FileZ or RescoExplorer.

    Don't throw all that at him at once if he is new to the Treo world. Let him use the thing bone stock and get a feel and then fire them at him one at a time.

    Agreed, however, he shouldn't have to learn the hard way with all this Treo experience out here. Treo protection is a must, as is a good back up utility. Everything else - gravy, for now ;-)
