I read it first on engadget that SanDisk was coming out with SDHC cards with cards even bigger than 4GB, but they needed a special card reader.

I thought these cards were something of the future, but I recently saw one for pre-order at J&R.

I wonder if this card will work with the Treo 700p. I guess a firmware update from Palm could solve do this later on.

    Thanks,

    Al

I recall reading somewhere that there are physical hardware differences. They aren't compatible with "older" readers. I'd be shocked if it were compatible with the 700p, I wouldn't hold out hope for that.

SDHC is not compatible with the Treo 700P.

All current DSLR should be competible with SDHC after fireware upgrade. The hardware is the same.

I wouldn't be surprised the next P700p update comes with SDHC competibility. BTW, SDHC is a retarded format. It max out at 32GB. So in maybe 3-4 short years, this format will reach its limit and we see another incompetibility fiasco again.

I hope you're right, that would be good news indeed.
