Never...but I found a way to keep them saved without a lock and same size. In your Pics & Videos, top right corner go to Online, it will connect, then pick the picture you sent out/received, highlight it, choose Send to device...their it is lock free.

    Hey, thats a great tip.....

I do have one question, though. When I go Online from my phones picture application, I only see the photos that I've uploaded or arranged into albums. I don't see my "Inbox" (photos that others have sent me). Am I missing something?

I did remedy this by going online on my PC and copying the desired photos from my Inbox to a designated album, but that is just another step that I'd rather skip if possible.

    Thanks
    K

nchargreed, that's the best so far(what your doing). I did some testing tonight and was able to send a locked picture via Snappermail & Chatteremail, but still shows up locked.

i called sprint today, and the rep was clueless... just said there was no way to unlock the pics, and there was nothing on file. He said "Yeah, it is a problem, but we don't have a solution for it"

I think i'm going to call retentions and see if i can get a bit of a discount, no point in paying for a broken feature.

I work for Sprint as well and the reason the pictures are locked are for copyright reasons. That's also the reason that Sprint users cannot Bluetooth pictures and ringtones between phones (think piracy). If a person takes a beautiful pic, sends it to someone else, the sendee gets it published and takes the credit for it, it's a problem. If someone downloads a ringtone and sends it to you, then it's basically like downloading a song from Limewire/Kazaa, you're listening to it, but you didn't pay for it (aka piracy).

I know it's very annoying, but that's how it is for now. People tend to abuse their rights to sending/recieving files ... Unfortunately I'm not sure wen exactly they'll fix it for those reasons....

Well now I got a 755p, no more problems....Now I wonder if the new MR fixed this on the Treo 700p?

I'm sure that's not accurate, since the MR fixed this issue for me.

Holy cow! It is fixed with the MR update!! I just tested it, and there was no lock on the picture when my buddy (on Sprint also) sent me a pic and I saved it to my phone
